LASER TOOLS MB MOTORSPORT
The announcements start with Jake Hill returning to the 2024 season in the British Touring Cars after a very successful campain in 2023 with the MB Motorsport WSR backed Laser Tools BMW team to build on his results from last season.
Jake said “ We had such a fantastic year, and look forward to being even stronger as we head into 2024” with some fantastic results which included six wins and twelve podiums on their way to a P3 finish in the Drivers’ Championship.
Finishing the season in 3rd over all put Jake as the top BMW at the end of the season finishing only behind 4 times BTCC Champion Ash Sutton and previous champion Tom Ingram which shows how strong a season he had. The next closest BMW was Colin Turkington finishing a close 4th however 60 points behind Jake in the Standings.
2024 marks a 10 year annaversary for the MB Motorsport team which is a great milestone for the team run by ex F1 and Indycar driver Mark Blundel who went on to say
“Jake had a great season in 2023 - his pace is clear for all to see and we know we have learnt some lessons which we can put to good effect next season to make us even stronger. We are also delighted to be continuing to work with Dick Bennetts’ WSR and BMW. We have enjoyed two years of success together so far and I know how motivated everyone is to go even better in 2024”
We are now looking forward to seeing the livery of the 2024 challenger and what other plans are in store for us.
