Well what can we say about this weekend, Some incredible racing throught every series. Weather played a part throughout with the Hailstones and Lightinging on Saturday ending the day early giving the Legends an early start on Sunday morning with there 10 lap final.

Throughout the Sunday we had some very changeable conditions with tree splitting sunshine in the morning and some heavy rain throughout the afternoon.

The racing as ever is frantic and fast paced as always from the Scottish motor Racing club. Our Videographer was on sight to capture the action from the Sunday race day which can be seen below.

The highlight races from the weekend were once again the Fiesta ST Championship with some close hard fought door mirror banging action, Also as always the Scottish Mini Cooper cup for over 15 years now has been the main event of an SMRC raceday which didnt dissappoint however over the last couple of years number has been thinning compare to pre 2020 when the grids were spectacular but today the racing is just as frantic as it ever was.

This event was a tribute weekend for the Scottish Legends who were once again celebrating the life of there long serving driver Gerard McCosh who sadly passed away in 2021 and his car was used as a tribute to the Legend Driver to lead the pack on a solo lap before the start of the final on Sunday afternoon.

If you want value for money and some amazing racing be sure to come along to the next Knockhill race day on the 7/8th of September - KNOCKHILL
