2025 KMSC Bike Racing is back
WE ARE RACING
It was so refreshing to stand in the spring weather at Knockhill racing circuit on the 12th and 13th of April for Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2025 KMSC bike racing championship, This year we have a feature on KMSC Clubman Superbike rider and previous Pre Injection 600 rider Charlie Reynolds of Reynolds Racing.
Stepping up from the 600cc class to the super bike is a big ask but when the talent comes natural then its no surprise to see Charlie hit the ground running with the fantastic Kawasaki ZX10
Having been to Andalusia circuit over winter Charlie got plenty of seat time over the 3 day test riding with some British Superbike talent of Rory Skinner and Oliver Barr. The weather was cold but the track action was fast and hot, Coming home from the Spain sunshine Charlie and team headed to Knockhill for the initial 2025 set day on a cold windy damp day giving him a chance to ride the bike in a more Scottish weather setting.

The weather that greeted us on the 12th and 13th of April at Knockhill was a surprise for everyone with a cloudless warm 16 degree day and the perfect weather to get racing.
Morning practice on the Saturday the track was green and cold with a low morning track temperature needing some of that direct sunlight, From lap 1 the times started tumbling giving the team more confidence throughout the event. Onto qualifying and to take the ZX10 onto 5th on the grid on the first event against some very much more experienced rider really did prove the Superbike was where Charlie needed to be.
R1 in the Afternoon and the red lights went out for the 2025 season and off they went with Declan Connell dominating the Superbike class with lap times down in the 49s, Charlie was off and racing keeping a firm hold on 6th place throughout the racing not only gapping the rider behind but having a great race with the 5th place rider and lapping consistently in the 53s lap times. He managed to secure a 6th place finish overall in the Clubman class.
R2 The late afternoon and all the confidence of the day boosted the speed and confidence to get unto 5th throughout the race and managed to lap in the 52s throughout the race leading to a overall 5th place finish and a happy team to end day 1, Speaking with Charlie he said “ He was delighted to be in the 52s and he knew he was on for a 52s lap as he could feel the power of the bike pushing him through every corner.
R3 and R4 on the Sunday a few issues throughout the day for Charlie as he didn’t feel the front of the bike was quite on for him but we spoke to a few riders through out the weekend and many people were feeling the front end of the bike sliding giving a few riders less confidence to push. The Superbike races once again dominated by Declan Connell and the KMSC clubman championship Charlie pushed on for 2 brilliant 6th place finishes with a good battle through both races with Jordan Flemming on his Yamaha R1
FLN and Reynolds Racing Videographer CMC-Images Media was on site to capture the amazing action from the team and has a full feature length highlight video coming to YouTube soon .
