Stepping back

News came out a week or so ago that unfortunately for the 2024 season we wont be seeing Scottish Driver Rory Butcher on the grid, Rory has decided to take a step back from racing in the premier Touring Car class this year.

Rory has posted on his social media that this is currently a pause in his racing career and by no means the end of what he has to give. We have been lucky to follow Rory for the past seasons not only in the BTCC but also with our onboard Photographer CMC-Images we have also witnessed Rory in the The Porsche Carrera Cup GB, British GT Championship, Scottish Legend Championship, European Le Mans series and much much more.

A great BTCC campaign over the years completing just over six seasons in the series we saw Rory have 11 race wins 5 pole positions and many many podiums along the way. Over the years in the B TCC he raced under David Bartrum and the Motorbase Racing Team, Shaun Hollamby and the AmD Tuning Honda Civic team and also the Toyota Gazoo Racing Speedworks racing team both of which were very successful for him.

It was no doubt a tough decision for Rory to step away from the BTCC race seat with the successes he has had over the years but for sure when he returns to the drivers seat we will no doubt see him return to the sharp end of the grid with more pole positions, Podiums and Race Wins
